This recipe is simple and delicious, my kinda of recipe.

Try looking on some of the cooking sites, recipezaar.com and recipegoldmine.com are the two I use the most often. On 'zaar at least, you can look for the type of food you like (meat, fish, veg, whatever) and the type of dish you want, and specify easy to prepare. That's what I tell folks who're learning to cook. I can share easy recipes, but you may not have my taste, and this way you don't have to!

When I get a recipe from 'zaar, I usually look for those that are 4-5 stars.

"Dinner in Foil" is a staple around my house. You can vary the ingredients and seasonings to suit your mood, the meal practically cooks itself, and clean-up afterwards is a breeze.

Dinner in Foil

Place one of the following in the center of a large square of heavy-duty aluminum foil:

Boneless chicken breast, boneless pork chop, hamburger patty, salmon fillet

Season meats with one of the following:

Teryaki sauce, barbecue sauce, Montreal steak seasoning, soy sauce, lemon pepper.

Season salmon with one of the following:

Dill weed and butter, lemon pepper, butter and lemon juice.

Place any or all of these vegetables around the meat/fish:

A peeled and quartered potato; a few heads of brocolli or cauliflower; some whole mushrooms; slivers of red onion; strips of green or red pepper; a peeled and sliced carrot.

Dot the veggies with butter, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Fold up the sides of the foil to form a tightly-sealed packet, and bake at 350 degrees until the meat is done and the veggies are tender. (Average time: 25-35 minutes.)

Like I said, the variations are endless, and the results are delicious!
