How long does it take for a refrigerater to reach it's proper temperature?!

Question:

How long does it take for a refrigerater to reach it's proper temperature?

Transfering from old to new.

Answers:
It is wise to let the fridge cool for ~24 hours before loading it.

From the time you plug it, it usually takes about 24-hours, as long as you aren't constantly opening and closing the door and checking the temperature! ;-)

Check your manual and it will give you the the time. Don't have the manual? Tsk, tsk! Go to the website for the manufacturer and see if you can view it that way.
