Does the form you eat food in matter?
Hey just wondering, does it make a difference in wat form you eat food like if i was to eat 3 eggs on toast would it be different to having 3 eggs in a milk shake. i mean obviously cancel out the bread ect.

Well, eating a food will require more digestion than drinking it. If that matters to you. Also, solid foods are best for your digestion if you chew your food slowly and carefully, (I know, who has time for that? Most of us aren't monks). Letting the saliva break down the food partially so that the your stomach acids don't have to do the extra work (again, better digestion). Many people get heart burn from just getting the food down as fast as they can. There are three major stages of breaking foods down during the entire digestive process. Saliva, stomach acid and the long trek through the bowels. The way you eat will also alter your calorie intake as well as vitamin absorption. Take the most difficult food to digest for example, meat: If you don't chew it into smaller portions and let saliva begin breaking it down before you swallow it, then it hits your stomach like a rock, and your stomach can't complete its job before being passing it to the bowels, therefore you will not get all the protein from the meat and much will be discarded as waste or not be able to pass through the bowels at all (even worse). They supposedly found 6 pounds of undigested meat in John Wayne's bowels during autopsy. This was not because he ate meat, but because he didn't take small bites, and chew slowly. (Maybe he did eat too much meat). I'm not saying to go out and make a shake or smoothy out of everything you eat. Especially a meat smoothie, (I know there are some places that this might sound like a good idea, and someones probably taking my idea and running with it right now.) Anyway, soup is such a good food because it already breaks down the ingredients. Even people who suggest eating raw food will admit that soup is good for you.
NO it really doesn't matter what you make your food ingredients with or how you make them...omelette. or milk shake or scrambled eggs or fried eggs on toast or egg salad sandwich.....if you're using 3 eggs.....you're using 3 eggs.....doesn't matter how u use them* :)
