Foods that put weight on you!?!

Question:

Foods that put weight on you!?

What are some fatty food that will really pack on the pounds fast?

Answers:
Just about any food that is sugary and/or starchy will pack on the pounds if you don't carefully balance it out with enough fiber and/or protein. The worst offenders are white bread, sweet baked goods and standard potatoes(yams, however, are safer as they are full of fiber and actually have fewer carbs overall than standard spuds). And don't go overboard on cutting out fats when it comes to losing weight. A tiny-bit of-fat meal can actually satisfy hunger longer than a close to nonfat one can- and decrease the risk of bingeing.

Personal experiences.

potato chips

starches like bread and pastas and especially the big mac

any thing with more than 20 carbs

look on the back to see if its heavy or not

Lard

Pancakes. It's how actors gain weight fast.

Actually, it wasn't food, but soft drinks that did me in.

BACON

depends on your metabolism but for normal people it could be ice cream, pancakes, candy, cake, pizza, cookies, basically sugars and breads

-fettuccine Alfredo has up to 3000 calories for one serving. It's a pasta dish with a sauce that has about 2 sticks of butter in it, and lots of cheese.
-Haagen Dazs ice cream is 1200 calories for one pint.
-A Big Mac is about 1000 calories
-1 pound of body fat is about 3500 calories
-If you eat foods that have a lot of refined sugar and refined flour your body won't be able to metabolize it, and it will turn to body fat. So a large quantity of cake and ice cream will put weight on fast.

If you eat all of this a couple hours before you go to sleep every night you will gain about 10 pounds in a week. Sumo wrestlers gain up to 200 pounds in a year by eating a big meal before going to bed. That's the way to really retain weight.

Of course, it will all be fat. The only way to gain muscle is to have a very thorough and well planned weight training plan, and to eat slightly more more protein to help the muscle repair/growth. The best for gaining size is to use free weights.

To gain weight, increase your intake of grains and calories. If you take in more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. It really depends on the person, but I think bread and stuff like pancakes will put some weight on you.
