The answers are all soo boring. My favorite soup is "home-made" fresh veggie soup. You can put any thing you want: just the veggies you like or you might try my recipe.

I start with a quart of water, 1-2 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon thyme, 2 potatoes, cubed; 2 carrots, cubed or sliced; 1/2 cup each of celery and onions, chopped. After cooking for about 10 minutes, add 1 can of beans (any kind you like), 1 can whole kernal corn, 2 cans chopped or whole tomatoes. For added flavor, add chopped ham or cooked bacon. Simmer for about 20-30 minutes, or until all veggies are done. (Some additional vegies are 1 can okra or some fresh broccoli. Add 1- 8oz pkg of noodles, if desired.) Enjoy!

I would have to say my homemade turkey soup. YUMMY =0)
