Contaminated peanutbutter?
i recently found out that my family size (5lbs) tub of peanutbutter was one from the peterpan 2111 batch that was contaminated... here's my question;
was it all or just some of the batch

It's a little late to not eat it, I already ate most of it. I've had it all year at college.

So I guess my question now is since I ate such a massive amount of this contaminated peanut butter could I have had salmonella and not known it. I did randomly throw up quite a bit but no diarhea or anything.

It was the whole batch so don't eat it, take it back to the grocery story and they will give you your money back. Not worth taking a chance.
I think it was the whole batch. I wouldnt eat the peanut butter if I were you.
=]
Do not eat it. It is not worth the price of PB.
It was all of the peanut butter from the 2111 batch. You can either return it to the store you bought it from for a refund, or simply throw it out.
If you've already eaten it and haven't got sick, there's nothing to worry about.
