There is possibility for salmonella infection, but if the eggs are fresh and handled properly and if the laying hens are vaccinated, the risk of infection is decreased.

Ew. No. I dont even eat cooked eggs.

No thank you. Salmonella anyone??

I wouldn't eat raw eggs if my life dependend on it!!!!!!

yep, if you also put a sugar in it, its delicious...

No. I'm sure if it were actually the most nutritious food in the world, you would hear more about it from the experts. As we know today, raw eggs can carry salmonella. Why risk it?

Why are they more nutritious raw than cooked?

A lot of people eat raw eggs for the protein. While salmonella is definitely a risk, most dairy and egg products are pasteurized to rid them of any sort of bacteria. You get the same benefits from eating the eggs cooked though.

raw eggs are pretty safe to eat now adays, especally if they are fresh. Ceaser salads, real ceaser salads are made with raw eggs by the way

Sure, why not. Rocky Balboa Likes em. Go ahead and try one!!

yep - in caesar salad and chocolate eggnog....

I have 3 raw eggs every morning mixed with raw milk for a kind of egg nog. I've been doing this for the last couple of years with no problems. The risk or samonela is quite small, one of every 30,000 eggs but even then will not harm a healthy adult. I just make sure the eggs are from organic free range chickens. Search the internet there is a lot of info on this subject.
