Where can I find half pint wide mouthed canning jars?
My mom has always wanted to start canning and just is always too busy helping others out to have some time to herself so I thought it would be a good idea if I went out and bought her the canning jars so she has a good enough reason to start and to do something she has wanted to do. I know it's nothing huge but still.
Anyone know what stores sell canning jars?

Well after some searching I found a few sites with info on canning & products/canning equipment for sale. Target was the one "real live" store I came across. Weblife.org sounded good cuz they provide a comprehensive canning site including information guide from the food authority, tips, timing chart, and canning forum but no bells or whistles. :( My first choice is homecanning.com it will ask 4 your country then redirect to freshpreserving.com. Which is a delightfully colourful & informative site. Well best of luck :o)
