I just made my boy's RB floats last week and I always use Briars Vanilla Ice Cream to make them. It's really easy to scoop out, even after it's refrozen and it has the best vanilla taste I think. If you have a Coldstone creamery in your area, their Vanilla is made fresh every day and is the best ice cream EVER!

I live in Florida and we get the "blue bunny" brand of Vanilla Ice cream and it's very creamy and holds up to using for milkshakes and floats....I bought a jar of malted powder made by "carnation" in the coffee isle at Walmart that I added to the vanilla ice cream and milk in the blender and it was so delicious tasting...I must not make a habit of it....lol....it's easy to get addicted...now that it's summer I'm going to start freezing fresh fruit so I can toss it in the blender when I'm craving something cold and fruity...I usually cut the fruit up in small pieces freeze on a cookie sheet then put them in plastic bags...I also date them so I use the oldest first....here all you wanted to know was the brand of ice cream and I told you more than you wanted to know....sorry but I love to chat and cook...hugs to you from Mama Jazzy Geri have a very nice summer...

i like dreyer's french vanilla.
Find the cheapest vanilla ice cream and mix it with an awesome root beer! Sounds crazy but it works. I recommend IBC root beer
