Answers:
A hot dog has been popular to eat on holidays in the USA..for many years....they became popular to eat at the beach ..when people were hungry they walked down the boardwalk at the beach to cafes where they sold hot dogs and drinks to the people who had been swimming and then very hungry....in America....families cooked hot dogs over open fires at the beach or at home in the kitchen or on the grill....Next month is the birthday of USA...and many people will cook hot dogs out side and then make other foods to go along with it...it's a very popular and very American treat....each person has a favorite way to eat a hot dog....here are a few ways....:
mustard
mustard and pickle relish
mustard , pickle relish and onions
mustard pickle relish, onions, and chile
catchup ( a tomato type sauce)
these are the ingredients most Americans like to put on their hot dog....the hot dog is placed in a bread roll that is shaped like the hot dog. It's long and cut down the center.
When I go shopping for food I buy a package of hot dogs that has 8 in the package....they come in three sizes....short and long....and foot long....I hope this information helps you....I could tell you more....or yes.....in New York City...there is a place called Nathans...they are one of the oldest hot dogs cafes in the USA...and once a year they have a hot dog eating contest and the one who eats the most hot dogs in a short time wins a prize....it's very popular....the man who has won the past few years is from Japan....he pushes those dogs down very fast! Enough for now....bye and I hope you have a good tasting hot dog one day soon.....LOL
