Is this enough?!

Question:

Is this enough?

Is one subway sandwich enough for one day...just this nothing else?

the sandwhich includes..
wheat bread, lettuce, tuna, tomatoe....and its a 6" (six inch)

is that enough..and how many calories do you suppose do you think i took in by eating that sandwich?

Answers:
No, that is not near enough to eat for an entire day. Even if dieting, you should have about 1800 calories a day ( healthy calories, not all junk) & you probably had a couple hundred if that in your sandwich ( it will depend on what condiments you use, mayo is a lot higher in calories than mustard)

Doesn't sound like much to me... maybe lunch (4") and a snack (2").

Absolutely not. You should be eating at least 4-6 servings of veggies/fruit, more protein and dairy. I sandwich a day is not enough. Besides if you are trying to lose weight you should really be eating small amounts every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism active.

Yes it is enough..provided you can afford to buy one each day. They are expensive in India.

No, a single sub is not a balanced, adequate daily intake. According to subway, this 6" sandwich has this content:
6" Tuna
CALORIES TOTAL 419
TOTAL FAT 21g
FAT SAT 5g
FAT CHOL 42g
(mg) PROTEIN 18g
(g) CARB 39g
(g) FIBER 3g
(g) SODIUM 1180mg

This is deficient in total calories, calcium, iron, vitamins and a ton of stuff. A very strict diet for an adult would have at least three times as many calories. Eating this little will turn down your metabolism and make it even harder to lose weight, as well as being nutritionally incomplete.

thats not nearly enough, and you are missing out on nutrients.for a start there is no calcium in there, for healthy teeth and bones. only a fraction of the protein you need, very little vitamins. you need to eat 3 sensible portions for meals each day,eat fruit when peckish, and a few low cal snacks bewtween meals. one sandwich a day is not enough for your body.also,it will cause your metabolism to slow down,so you will lose weight slowly.if you eat every few hours on healthy, low cal foods you will actually burn off fat faster.

not enuf.
eating 2inch of it for each meal wont b enuf for me. but if eat it 'once n for all", i wil feel vy full for 1 minute, n later i wil b seeking food again.

oh ya, n i hav no idea for its calories.
