What's the true about microwave?!

Question:

What's the true about microwave?

some people just hate microwave, some people love it.
I like it, myself. My sister-in-law says you can't whatch the food in the microwave, and she said maybe that's why some women got breast cancer. Also she said you can't use plastic container to warm food in the microwave but, most the plastic containers says you can use it in the microwave. My mother-in-law says you can't warm milk in the microwave and chicken as well, because the microwave kills all the good stuff the food has.
So, l don't know what to do, because also l have heard that microwave is not that bad. Would you give me the right advice please? Thank you very much!

Answers:
I don't like microwave- just don't trust it for my food but have to use it for others.
Plastic- if you can pour boiling water into it and it doesn't warp- you are fine.
You shouldn't look into the microwave- why watch what's happening. For popcorn just listen carefully for popping to slow- before it bursts into flames.
if you are warming milk higher than certain temps you are killing the beneficial bacteria anyhow now matter where the heating is done.
It toughens chicken as far as I am concerned.
It is convenient, versatile, small and economical to use.
But think what you are missing- you could be sauteing ingredients and making sauces that would fill the house with delicious aromas for hours- instead you are zapping it in 2 minutes and wolfing it down cause you are in a hurry.

Basically food does get altered in the microwave, particuliar veggies I personally hate them and only use it to heat up a hot dog quickly.I have read that all green veggies lose their vitimans when heated with magnets,so try and stay away from it then.
