Nirula's is a fast food chain in India, which started it's operations in New Delhi in year 1934 with a small hotel called HOTEL INDIA. It was the first company to bring the pizzas, burgers, and expresso coffee to India. Nirula's was also the first company in India to have been awarded the first licence in food preservation - FPO 1.
In June 2006, Nirula's was acquired by Malysian private equity fund Navis Capital Partners and a gentleman called Samir Kuckreja, who is now the managing director and CEO of the Nirula's Group.
Today, it has 47 outlets in India and intends to take that number to 150 to 200 in the next three odd years. Its hot chocolate fudge is renowned all over India.
