How long can corn on the cob keep in the refridgerator?!

Question:

How long can corn on the cob keep in the refridgerator?

I've had it for a week, havent cooked it yet. didnt have time. still looks as fresh as when I bought it...
when will it expire?

Answers:
You keep corn on the cob up to two weeks, if you keep it in the dryer part of the refridgeratoer, like a cripser!

It should be fine. Just check for mold.

I am sure its fine, as long as there is no mold or discoloration.

A little old lady used to tell me to strip the corn down and wrap in damp tea towels and it will last longer. The problem with having corn a long time, over 5 days is that it dries out, loses sugar content and my be tough. Add a little sugar to the pot if you're boiling it.

Usually a couple of days is tops. The minute that corn is picked, its sugar starts turning to starch! I would consider cutting it off the cob and trying to use it in a recipe...to eat it on the cob now, it is not going to taste very fresh. Sorry!
