Yeah it seems to taste better and less mushy than when I make my own boiled rice :)
yes its quick and easy and ma kid loves it as u get different types only 10 mins to cook what could be easier
Yes. Uncle Ben's is expensive but no mess, no fuss, easy to cook and easy to serve and great texture. Worth every penny.

yep.....i like microwave rice too. i just cant manage it the normal way....its a blindspot!

Aye I do but only the basmati ones. I tried long grain rice once and it was minging. The best thing about boil in the bag is not guessing how much to put in. I always put too much in and it goes to waste.
What a waste!!!!!!!!!! I was a minute rice fan but no more.
I buy regular rice. Make the exact amount I need. Only 20 minutes and often less than that for perfect rice
buy basmati rice.,it tastes good
I use to when I was younger but I have found that cooking rice 1cup rice to 2 cups water, boil water first with a pat of butter, add rice, stir, turn to low, set the lid on allowing some steam to escape and walk away for 10 min. is just as easy!

uncle bens is good but an expensive way of cooking rice compared with traditional methods, use it on the boat where burners are at a premium so it has its place.
