Carnivores and predators are mutations in evolution. Life can continue with them not in the equation. Plants and the fruits they bear are NECESSITY as they capture all the energy we use, produce our nutrients, give us dietary supply of minerals and expell oxygen for us to breathe when they photosynthesis energy. Creatures are benevolent by nature as we are all sentient on some level..at least enough of pain or danger. No creature would wish this on another creature unless their survival 'depended' on it. Even then most omnivores only resort to eating meat when they 'have' too. Humans are the only creature that domesticate and factory farm docile herbivores to exploit for gauranteed crude nutrition. It takes 2000 lbs of food to feed 100 cows I believe..how is this more efficient then just consuming the food on the original level.
Carnivores likely mutated from original omnivores and omnivores likely mutated from herbivores..as isolation, drastic conditions or other effects cause dietary change or dire need a group of animals may survive and evolve to become something entirely new.

If you can't eat a basic unprocessed diet without becoming anxious and depressed you need to evaluate yourself. Perhaps something is wrong with you mentally if you can't function without certain food alternatives and are fixiated on such routines. Where's the predicate to your sentence? It's called thinning out the herd, something that God sees as a necessary act (and considering the way the world is nowadays, it's also a very merciful one). It's the same thing we do when we eat those tasty cows and pigs. Therefore, mankind, by eating meat, is doing what God wants us to do. There's a pretty wide chasm between believing that humans are scientifically omniverous creatures (true and indisputable) and believing that a God -- or god, if you prefer --- put disease and natural disasters here to torment our souls.
One need only to have a scientific mind to answer this question. Cows and pigs are made of meat. Humans' palates are designed to process protein as well as plant matter. Ergo, yes... cows and pigs are designed to be eaten. I don't care how cute they are in cartoons -- the fact that the human body can digest and refine energy from these sources cannot scientifically be disproven.
The problem here is in the question itself, which is predicated on a false argument and is designed in and of itself to be misleading. Or god doesn't exist so there is no real reason behind those things? Man gives meaning to things to make himself feel better?
If those things aren't supposed to be eaten, why a food chain? Or are they not supposed to be eaten by humans? Questions answering questions? Answers that mean nothing anyway?

Well, I would say that those diseases you mention have a purpose the same way that cows and pigs have a purpose. Some of us just don't think the purpose of cows and pigs is to feed people. So, technically, although I am halfway siding with your opinion, it isn't all that ridiculous to think that cholera, HIV, and herpes are here specifically to infect people for some reason (population control?). By behavior, yes. By nature? No. Just because man can digest animals doesn't mean they're supposed to be food. We can digest cardboard, too. Animal proteins cause disease. We wouldn't be made to eat something that causes disease on SUCH a scale as animal proteins cause disease. So, consider your theory disputed, Ergo, you don't know what you're talking about.
