What would be a good vegetarian breakfast?!

Question:

What would be a good vegetarian breakfast?

What could I eat for breakfast with no meat in it. I'm not down with the "fake meat" crap or tofu. And I eat eggs and drink milk.

Answers: Some of my breakfast meals (with non-fake meat lol!):

1) cereal & milk - just can't beat it at times, whether Coco Pops or museli with cut-up fruit

2) scrambled eggs - on toast, or on a toasted bagle with slices of tomato

3) "pick 'n' mix" - glass of fruit juice, tea/coffee, slice of toast, yoghurt, piece of fruit (how's that for variety?)

4) Full Breakfast - fried bread/toast, poached/fried egg, baked beans, grilled/tinned tomatoes, (hash browns and mushrooms, if you like them).

Or just about anything that you can put on toast, in any form - tomatoes, beans, spaghetti, eggs, jams, spreads... If your a vegetarian the best food you should it is vegetables with rice. Pancakes, they always hit the spot for me, or if you wanna be slightly different have Potato Pancakes, they are nice as well! Oatmeal with raisins and bananas and cinnamon and brown sugar and milk. Whole wheat muffins with soy nuts, butter and jam. A couple of poached eggs. Apricot juice. English breakfast tea. Eggs, Milk.these are good suppliments.intake lots of sprouted cereals which keeps u energised for the whole day even reduces stress....dont skip breakfast at any cost....and lots of water :)

have a nice day reall the fake stuff is good some times.
and i live off tofu, going to start making my own.

(4 servings) Printable Version

1 and 1/4 cups soy milk (plain or vanilla)
1 cup flour
1/2 cup Egg Beaters or other egg substitute
1/3 cup apple sauce
1 Tablespoons sugar
dash salt
This recipe makes about a dozen crepes.

In a large bowl, whick together the egg substitue, milk and apple sauce. Add flour sugar and salt and coninue to whisk vigerously for at least 2 minutes. (You could cheat and use a blender.)

Heat a frying pan to medium. Give it a very light spray of cooking oil. Drop the crepe mixture onto the heated surface. Using about a 1/4 cup of batter for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly. The thinner the crepe -- the better the crepe.

Cook each side until the golden brown brown (about 2 minutes for side one -- batter will bubble; and 1 minute for side 2). Gently remove and place on a plate. Place waxed paper between cooked crepes to prevent sticking. If you eat eggs and drink milk, you are on the right path. THats good, for your body and brain both. NOTHING Garbage omlet, baby! C'mon over and I'll whip one up for you.

Chopped peppers, onions, squash, a bit of garlic, diced tomatoe, diced eggplant, set to swim a while in an olive oil liquor over a gentle heat to soften things up a bit.

When they're soft, pour off the olive oil in an omlet pan or big skillet or sauce pan, add a teaspoon of butter and get it hot so the oil is bubbling a bit but not smoking. Have some shredded parmesan cheese nearby.

Now beat up 2 eggs with a splash of milk -use a wire whip, fast as you can to churn some air into it. Then pour this against the inside wall of your hot pan so it flows slowly across to the other side, getting cooked as it goes along. Wait a moment, then, with a spatula, lift up the edges here and there and tilt the pan to let the still liquid part flow over and under -so everything starts to cook evenly.

Over 1/2 of this, put your tenderized veggies, so 1/2 has veggies, the other half is bare. Sprinkle your parmesan over the veggies, cover that puppy and turn off the heat.

Sneak a peek in about 30 seconds. If things are getting firm, you're done! If not, recover, wait 20 seconds, opeek again, etc. Tilt the pan so the veggie half slides onto a plate (you may need to loosen the omlet with a spatula). After the veggie half is on the plate, lift the pan so the bare part folds over top of the veggie part, leaving you with that classic crescent shape omlet, the veggies and cheese inside.

English muffin and marmelade on the side -and there you go!

Clap, clap, clap, clap. Fade to black. pancakes or waffles with fruit and a glass of milk or small slice of cheese. dick I see no need to include eggs and cow milk in your breakfast, even if you would usually eat some of these items during the day. I don't consider those to be healthy or "good."

Oatmeal with vanilla hempnut milk and dried cherries

Granola with vanilla rice milk, strawberries, and kiwi

Bean burrito with salsa and guacamole

Vegan French toast with fruit and maple syrup (the real stuff)

English muffin with agave nectar, cantelope, and grapes a veggiedog and eggs... it wakes up you the natural way.. with protein and you stay full and awake the whole rest of the day :) oatmeal with fresh fruit.
