Answers: Green leafy vegetables. Cabbage, broccoli, kale, brussell sprouts, etc. etc. They have the most nutrition with the least fat and sugar. They can make up half or more of your total diet. They fill you up without a lot of calories.

Beans are also good! They're filling and satisfying, have a lot of nutrition but not a lot of calories. (Of course you don't want to make them with a lot of brown sugar or molasses. Beans from a can sometimes have a lot of these because it makes them good! If you make them yourself you can use just a little.)

If you're trying to lose weight you should eat just a little bit of cheese every day, because the calcium in the cheese helps the process. But cheese has a lot of fat, so just a little.

Fruit is good, but it has a lot of sugar so one piece a day is plenty. You can't make a meal of it, like you can with green veggies.

Nuts can also be good. Like cheese, they are very fatty, but they have good stuff in them for you. A handful a day (50g) is health food. After that they're just fattening. (And by 'nuts' I don't mean peanuts or cashews--those aren't really nuts!)

Also eating is just one side of the coin. The other side is exercise. If you work out it really helps. But if you're not a working-out kind of person, just going for a long walk will really help. apples Lots of Grapefruit, any of em

You should still be eating 1200 calories a day and combining a healthy diet with exercise, though. I'd try to stay away from white potatoes cuz they have a lot of startch in them. the healthiest vegeatable is a sweet potatoe so I'd eat one at least everyother day, I've been trying to not eat meet for a week know, and thats the thing that fills me up the most, dark leafy greens and other veggies are good for you to. good luck A mixture of: (lettuce,cabbage,tomatoes,fres... sliced apple,celery,seedless grapes with any baked and I mean baked meat; beef,lamb,fish,chicken,or turkey.

This is for lunch and dinner for ten (10) days and no dairies...

Good appetite and GOOD LUCK!! I make a huge veggie only salad in the AM and eat it all day long when trying to lose weight. If you are eating a very calorie restricted diet, make sure you lift weights to maintain muscle mass.
