What are some vegan breakfast ideas?!

Question:

What are some vegan breakfast ideas?

I am completely tired of soy milk and cereal. What are some other quick and relatively easy vegan breakfast ideas?

Answers: how about almond butter with whole wheat bread? if its soy milk in particular that you're tired of, rather than all types of "milk", you might want to try almond/rice milk (I prefer almond milk because it is less bland). Fruit, of course, is always a good idea, any time of the day. You can also pack one of those vegan energy/protein bars for a filling mid-morning snack. I really like the Clif Builder Bars, they keep my energy levels high for hours. Snacking on a handful of nuts can also be good. try biscuits or cinnimon rolls Fantastic Foods Tofu Scrambler

2 slices of Peanut Butter Toast on sprouted bread with a half grapefruit on the side

Hashbrown potatoes mixed up with diced onions, green peppers and tempeh.

Cooked brown rice with cinnamon, pure maple syrup and soy, rice or almond milk.

Vegan biscuits with veggie gravy and and soy sausage

Kim at: http://www.peaceful-organic-planet.com... Try a smoothie.
8 oz orange juice
1/5 to 1/4 block tofu (I prefer firm)
1/2 cup instant plain oatmeal
banana
Blend on liquefy setting

It will be thick. Adjust proportions to suit your preference.
You can substitute ground flax seed for some of the oatmeal. And experiment with different fruits.
OJ tastes better if you spend a little more and get the good stuff, avoid the cheap brands. Tofu Scrambler and soy sausage wrapped in a tortilla or pita, with or without potatoes or hashbrowns. PB&J -- any time o' day. Yummmmm.... http://vegetarian.about.com/od/morerecip...
Try googling vegan french toast and pancake recipes.

i also heard the book vegan with a vengance is a good source for breakfast ideas.
oh and corn muffins, and smoothies, and fruit etc Oatmeal is good (with cinnamon and brown sugar, but that's just me) or you can make a tasty hot ceral using polenta (coarse corn meal) and water. Both take just a few minutes on the stove and even less if you nuke them.

Another favorite of mine is toasted whole wheat bread with sliced fresh fruit or jam. Smoothies are delicious but don't stay with me as long as these foods do. A vegan breakfast may consist of products like oatmeal, soy (soy milk), wheat (whole grain bread, cereals), nuts(almonds) and fresh juices. Even a nice soy milkshake with fruits as blueberry and honey will make a great substitute to a large breakfast. My fiance and I love cream of wheat the vegan, East Indian way. We use coconut milk to make it instead of water or cow milk, put in raisins and cashews or pistachios and flavor it with cardamom! If we're feeling like a little sweetness, we'll dribble a little agave syrup in.
You can flavor it with other things, too: cinnamon & nutmeg, ginger and almonds, orange peel, vanilla... our favorite substitute for the cardamom is a little brandy. All the alcohol cooks off and leaves just the flavor. Dee-lish!
Also, you can try looking up breakfast recipes on my favorite vegan website, www.vegweb.com The best breakfast smoothie: soaked Himalayan goji berries, raw organic cashews, and water (and perhaps a bit of maple syrup if you like it sweet). The goji berries contain all of the essential amino acids, vitamins, and fabulous antioxidants. The cashews add more protein, minerals, and good fat. This combo will keep you going for hours.

Broccoli smeared with hemp nut butter and sprinkled with fresh lime juice. Wow! Incredibly delicious.

Sprinkle fresh berries or other fresh fruit with grated coconut.

All of the above are far superior to any cereal. Stay away from tofu and other processed soy foods. Constituents of soy block the absorption of minerals and inhibit enzymes. Consumption of soy is linked to birth defects, brain damage, thyroid problems, and immune dysfunction, as well as other disorders. The best milk is made from raw organic cashews and water, blended.
