How long can I keep soy milk after it's been opened?!

Question:

How long can I keep soy milk after it's been opened?

Answers: I wouldn't keep it for much more than a week, but I know that if you're drinking it by yourself it can take a long time to use it up. The maximum I would suggest is two weeks. Check it. If it smells a little funny and you've had it open for a while, I wouldn't use it. Just like any other perishable item in the fridge.
If you pour your soy milk and see white chunks and it's pretty new, don't worry. Some soy milk is like this, and it happens more often near the bottom of the carton. It's just sediments from the soy milk that settle out if it's not mixed well. The chunks are a little gritty but don't hurt you. Source(s):
experience drinking soy for 6+ years i wouldnt, but umm why are you getting soy milk in the first place I work in a Licensed Starbucks and our rules state that it is only good for 7 days (after it is opened) (and it's not used past the exp. date) But as I've said that's Starbucks policy. Forever. It is made by aliens in order to trick humans into consuming plant material and become docile animals like the ones we now eat, so they will become the dominant species, and dine upon us as they settle on our home planet.

Fight for your planet! Eat Meat! :)

That's one theory anyhow. ;) There is expiry date written on it read it ,Use the milk before the date shown . Well usually the cartons say somewhere in between 7-10 days after opening...
But (and this may be gross to people LOL) I keep using it until it stinks...
I'll use it for like 3 weeks after I open it(it's too expensive to just waste right? LOL)

I don't know what is stinks like when it goes bad, But you'll know when you sniff it if it is good or bad... it just smells nasty when it gets too old, and you'll know when you sniff it...
Otherwise, as long as it smells like soymilk, then I drink it... I haven't gotten sick from doing that so far, so I guess it works... If you have any what you need to do is to pour it down the drain. Then go buy some real milk...

Also I think the whole space aliens thing might just be right.... You can keep it in the fridge for seven to ten days before it goes bad. At least 7 days or more. It doesn't go bad as fast as cow milk since it doesn't have animal fat in it. I don't know but how would you be able to tell if it went bad Not Long. About 3 Days. It Will Turn Into Moo Moo Juice.
