Answers: Well your lunch and dinner sound good.
But (with all the working out you do) Eat a better breakfast.
I eat whole wheat/grain cereals... for example unfrosted shredded wheat w/ soymilk... It really fills me up, and it also gives me good quality energy. If your doing 45 minutes of cardio a day, you'll need energy.
If you have the funds, maybe you could see a dietitian.
Pretty much just eat more... and get enough calories
Maybe eat like 5 smaller meals, instead of 3 big meals
As far as the working out, you're OK, but I can't see where you find the energy to work out like that w/o a good breakfast.
I just started doing cardio again and I need my energy!
You might be overdoing the exercise a little... did you just start this exercise plan?... if you did, then definitely slow down a little until your body is used to it... Otherwise you'll end up with all kinds of aches and pains... I mean you sound like you're training for a marathon. Source(s):
My 360 :]
http://360.yahoo.com/my_profile-vhtvuj05... It's alright, but a bit bland. Spice it up. Maybe substitute some fake meat sausages for the soy yogurt. For lunch, take out the tofu and grill it with some spicy sauces and serve it with the salad. The dinner sounds best. I think it is good. However if you exercise a lot it is great if you don't maybe you need to take it a little slower and just work up to it every day till you are way beyond that. Vegans rock and I have to say I am a lot healthier and athletic since I turned Vegan. It is the best thing for you. Not good at all. You need many more different whole grains, such as quinoa, amaranth, barley, rice, oats, spelt, buckwheat. The only grain you have listed is whole wheat and it's just 1-3 servings! Also, less nuts or same amount of nuts but add more legumes, like lentils and beans. Incorporate more green leafy vegetables, such as kale and collards. Whole wheat pasta sucks. If you want to be successful at sticking with a vegan diet you are going to have to learn how to cook well for yourself. Your diet looks like the stereotype reason that people make fun of vegans. You need to go to some thrift stores and buy all the cookbooks you can find (including non-veg ones). The Joy of Cooking explains a lot about how to cook, what foods go together and how to use them, not just recipes. Try to pick it up.
Edit: Can any of the three idiots who gave me a thumbs down explain why they did?
Edit 2: Now four idiots. Sounds good but try to add a bit more protein(and varied)because you are weightlifting and so your muscles are gonna need it to grow and maybe some refined pasta for good taste(i hate it when pasta tastes like weetabix).
Remember you dont have to be perfect.
