Is egg a meat?!
Is egg a meat?
can a vegetarian eat an egg
Answers: Yes a vegetarian can eat eggs. The eggs we eat aren't fertilized yet. Therefore you're not killing anything. its dairy,not meat and yes you can eat it aye they can.
but only if theyre really not a vegetarian pretending they are.
an egg is a chicken poo, with a real live chicken growing inside the poo. an egg isnt technically a meat, but it came from an animal,
eggs however, are very healthy and its a good way to start the morning I believe you can. there are all sorts of different types of vegetarians out there.
eggs are meat but it would depend on the vegetarian if they believed in eating them since there isn't actually a living animal in them since they shouldn't be fertilized.
i love all meat! yummy! An egg is part of the meat group. It's poultry based. well, meat is - to put it starkly- animal tissue consumed as food- and though eggs contain animal tissue, they are rarely referred to as 'meat'... hope that helps... usually veg. don't eat eggs but egg is not a meat Yeah unless you're vegan; vegans eat nor wear nor use ANY animal products. I mean, yeah you can eat it, but no it is not a meat. An egg, along with legumes and other things high in protein are considered a meat (according to the food pyramid) but that is only because of the excellent protein it has. Vegetarians can eat eggs. Usually Vegetarians don't eat animal flesh but eggs are okay and dairy products. here this might help.
A vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat, including, beef, chicken, pork, or fish. Some vegetarians may or may not choose to eat animal products such as eggs, milk, gelatin, or honey. There are different types of vegetarians:
Lacto-ovo vegetarian
Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat no meat but do eat eggs and dairy products (ovo means eggs and lacto means dairy).
Lacto vegetarian
Lacto vegetarians eat no meat but do eat dairy products.
Ovo vegetarian
Lacto vegetarians eat no meat but do eat eggs.
Vegan
Vegan vegetarians avoid eating any animal products. Vegans do not eat any meat products, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, or gelatin. Many vegans choose not to wear clothes containing animal products, such as leather, wool, or silk, or wear makeup tested by animals. Vegetarians come in a variety of degrees. Many are Ovo/Lacto vegetarians, ovo meaning egg and lacto meaning milk. These vegetarians eat eggs and dairy products. Vegans, on the other hand, eat neither of those, subsisting on plant material alone.
I'm an Ovo/Lacto veggie myself, and when defending myself against someone who was giving me a hard time saying, "Let me get this straight.... you'll eat 'pre-chicken' (meaning eggs) but you won't eat chicken, right?" I let them know that I choose to Spill No Blood. A significant difference in my book. egg is a meat and a vegetarian if he wishes can eat Egg is neither veg nor non-veg. Those persons who eat egg are called eggatarian. But I beleive that egg should be vegetarian because like milk is a product of cow (animal) likewise egg is also a product of hen (animal). An egg is a dairy product, so, no, it is not meat. If you are vegetarian, then you can eat it, but not if you are vegan. Egg is a Protein. Many Vegetarians do eat eggs. This is a personal choice. I choose Vegan, I honestly do not believe the human body is meant to eat animal products at all. Yes we can live on them but we don't THRIVE on them.
Here are great article by Dr. John McDougall, he has a good website & a free monthly newsletter.

if you like the taste.
there are vegetarian eggs too, which are laid in some different process, and are not the result of fertilisation. Kinda, it is not meat (Catholics can have it on Fridays). Yet it comes from an animal. There are Vegans called Ova. That means they eat eggs. I would be considered a lacta ova vegetarian. I still drink milk and I eat eggs. A Vegan does not deal with any animal by product. That means they don't wear leather shoes to. my family does not consider it meat because the animal has not hatched yet almost all friends of mine cosider egg as veggie, so i think egg should be in vegetarian category. they eat chicken why not it's egg? No egg is not meat.
Depends on what type of vegetarian you are. If you also do not take dairy products, then eggs are a no no.
Otherwise its okay. I am a strict non-vegetarian. So difficult for me to comprehend though. My logic is "Eat it if you like." Egg cannot be a meat
However Vegetarians do not eat Eggs egg=meat
fish=dairy
veggies=anchovies
