egans can grow more food to save all starving people of the world why dont you make a plan to help PEOPLE! you know, "people?" we are at the top of the food chain. we have the right to eat whatever the hell we want. animals eat other animals, am right? so why is wrong that we eat them? give me a break!... ok so now i am adding on to what i said. i feel bad, you are probably a nice person, bt still. First of all, I think vegans mean well. But they are just that--idealists.

Nearly everything we rely on to survive, in some way, or manner, relies on some sort of animal by-product, whether it's a mere fiber of flesh, or fat. It seems virtually impossible to devise a plan of complete animal liberation.

And why shoud it just stop at animals? If vegans have such respect for life, why should it just stop there? Why not insects, rodents, and other unsavory creatures?

They've got the right to live and surivive in their own microscopic world, don't they?

Truth is, this is the culture we live in, and everything from the food we eat, to the fibers we wear are mass-produced, and manufactuered with cruelty, in some way, shape or form. If an animal isn't being tested on, killed, or used for fabric, a human being is being used to process it, and probably exploited in a similar manner.

Unless you live on Walden Pond, there is no way you’re going to escape it. A lot of the food we need to survive on is processed in some manner that is in of itself probably connected with the exploitation of at least one animal.

Does anyone agree? We all want to change the world...
The only part of the world you can change is yourself. Work on becoming a practitioner of universal love. By doing that, you will be bringing universal love into the world! The vegans do have a plan, but if they told you, they'd have to kill you... Change the world that funny vegans cant even survive outside a pampered society. They only survive because they have society to take care of them and keep them alive if were outside they would starve to death. If lived in area were starvation is present and lower social conditionals they would not be able to live. They cant even survive in nature or wilderness there pills, chemical mixed food and genetically altered plants they eat wont be found.(mookiemonkee How does society cater me when if just proven everything said if lived lower social lower you cant survive. You don't live outside a pamper society because you would starved to death or not be vegan and worried about not starving to death. Your the one who lives in cave in own make believe fantasy world and no clue about real suffering and pain. They think that they can convert me by dressing like chickens and holding up signs in front of my neighborhood KFC. They need a little attention and can't do much else so they strive for a label.

Does any vegan have a six figure salary? Of course not. That's because they can't do very much with thier lives except protest for a ridiculous cause.

And there is no Ideal vegan world. They don't seem to realize how necissary MEAT is to our health. If you don't get meat, you don't get protien. Protien is necissary for our HEALTH Do they really want us all to die when were 45? ok...animal liberation? seriously? like that other girl said...we ARE at the top of the food chain. People have been eating animals to survive for thousands of years--that is the way it works. If we stop eating animals they will overpopulate and some will die a horrible death of starvation. Wouldn't you rather the animal have a nice life and then die so I can enjoy it's meat rather than starve to death? flat out: oh my goodness. you people sound so ridiculous.

macphen, i am a vegan who strives not to harm any living creature. i try not to cause intentional harm to any animals. i buy products that are as natural as possible, obtained from natural sources, and are not tested on animals. i do what i can... there is a way around our animal dependency... you've just gotta find a way around it.

охотни, i can certainly live outside of a pampered society. it seems that society caters to people like you. step outside of your little cave for just a second, and what do you see? fast food galore and all the meat-friendly restaurants as far as the eye can see. the food i eat is not chemically mixed nor do i consume genetically modified plants.

john q. republican, do you have a six figure income? if so, then i'm happy for the success you've achieved. now what does that have to do with being vegan? i'll tell you what... i'll be the first vegan you know that will have a six figure income by the time i hit thirty... how about that?
protein cannot only be found in meat... please do your research before spewing out your babble. have you not paid attention to the current health trends? why is it that more people are dying of heart attacks and cancer now than ever before? it certainly isn't because that person ate too many vegetables!

and johnnizanni, you said it best... :o) well i guess some do, i dont well, this whole idea of being concerned with six figure salaries (greed) is something to rebel against completely, to thus change the world and bring more stability and less crass materialism and egocentric tendencies for the masses to emulate. Your right about protein, though. Americans DEFINATELY need more, and vegetarians definately don't get any. I can't believe im typing this right now......oh god.....there it goes.....
