Yeh, I'm not sure if I believe it or not, it does sound pretty far fetched. That's why I'm asking here, to see if anyone else has ever heard that.

Yeh, I'm not sure if I believe it or not, it does sound pretty far fetched. That's why I'm asking here, to see if anyone else has ever heard that. I did quite a bit of research on this because one of my cats was constantly licking on plastic bags. What I found out was that the bags don't actually *contain* animal proteins. It seems that the machinery to make the plastic bags is often lubricated with forms of animal products which may contain rendered animal fat.
It turned out that cats can smell and partially taste the remnants of that lubrication. nope and i don't believe it I don't think that is true. But i do know that the way they bleach sugar is by cow bones. I think they burn them together. don't tell me that-
next thing we'll see is a beverage for jocks that is made from plastic bags- they come crunched up in a cup all you do is add water. Gatorbag I have been a vegetarian for nine years and am very sensitive to animal issues, but I have never heard that and I'm not sure I believe it. It seems farfetched. how strange! Don't know how true it is though! I haven't heard of this..wow..i think its a lie..or a rumor I have a hard time finding those anymore anyway...most stores want you to bring your own tote bag or buy one from them.
