farts that they are Well, it's better than eating other people's bogeys. errrrr that's disgusting.

Do you eat your own s h i t as well? According to one doctor, it is quite good for us. Because the germs and dirt in them help us build a strong immune system. So if you can get past the gross-ness of it, chew away! No they are not, a normal bogey is made form snot (from your snot glan) and filtered material that is caught by your snot and nose hairs, the snot is fine to eat but its the other nasty things that your body is trying to protect you from. I was enjoying a nice dinner until I read this question.... Bogeys are made from breathing in and out through your nose. The nostrils are lined with hairs (called cilia) and these hairs basically take airborne debris and dust from the air, so that we don't breathe this dust into our lungs all the time. what these hairs collect is basically what bogeys are made of, so by eating them, you would really be eating the particles of dust that the hairs have sifted out. Well my kids have suffered no ill effects from eating the occasional bogey, perhaps that's why they're always so healthy, and there was me thinking it was because of all the vitamins they eat. I have heard they taste quite salty so they wouldn't be very good for people with high blood pressure, have to keep an eye on my other half then! Grow up! in public? Gross, unhygienic and down right disgusting. Good way to lose friends or clingy girlfriends/boyfriends. Even if you heard they were as good as an orgasm, my answer would still be NO! That is so nasty. UUUUUUGGGGGHHHH!!. grow up for 5 minutes would ya I used to when I was a kid along with eating dirt and chewing ice, but I learned the reason that I had all of those strange habits was because of an iron deficiency. The correct term for those type of habits is pica. Ask that Disgusting, Vile, Horrible John McRirrick!!!!!
They seem to be his staple diet. ERRRGH.
