**Oh and alex your wrong. Eating meat is actually bad for you. With all the hormones they put in meat psh if you only knew go to the Peta site I have below you'll see meat is actually really bad for you. heart disease high cholesterol and a lot more. Source(s):
http://www.peta2.com/stuff/s-recipe.asp... MAYBE A VEGGIE STEW OR CASEROLE! U cant eat any type of animal including sea animals. dairy products like milk and cheese or even eggs and honey are from animals so u cant eat those either. but u can eat fruits, veggies, tofu, grains, beans, seeds and nuts. I can't believe you can't figure this out on your own, to be a VEGETARIAN you have to eat VEGETABLES eat stuff that doesn't have meat in it. Like if you're making spaghetti with meatballs, leave out the meatballs. and candy usually doesn't have meat in it. and you can thate the burger out of the hamburger and fill it with lettuce and accondoments instead. Don't swear off all veggie meats just because you tried a veggie burger that you didn't like. There are some REALLY delicious fake meat products out there. To start out, you might want to try and eat high protein foods that aren't trying to taste like meat. My favorite is Yves garden burger, i think it's called. It's got all kinds of veggies in it, and it's soo good with melted cheddar on the top with a wholesome bun... try a english muffin. The condiments and cheese are key to the vegetarian fake meats! The same brand has tofu dogs that are so good and good for you. When i don't have as much money, I add chickpeas to everything (like pasta). Or get a recipe to marinate tofu and have a fun stir fry. Lots of Indian food is vegetarian... have some nice curry dishes. Hummus is good. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are my favorite afternoon snack. Eggs. Another really great idea is to start out slowly eliminating red meats, then other meats, then fish. Best of Luck! why become veggitarian its not going to stop ppl from killing animals meat is good plus its not healthy to not eat meat hey! uhm go to a grocery store like giant Safeway? there should be like an organic section with everything from vegan cheese to vegi nuggets and hot dogs ...etc. being vegetarian is awesome! and really easy and the food is good in my opinion :) hope this helps Get a book. You need a real education about vegetarian nutrition, not a bunch of answers from people here.
BECOMING VEGETARIAN is good and you can get it on Amazon. First, let tell you how much it makes my day when I hear about someone who is thinking about becoming a vegetarian or vegan. It's not always an easy choice to make for various reason, but it is getting easier. My suggestion is to start out slow. If you dive head first into it you may feel overwhelmed and give up. Do you homework. I'm including a few likes that were very helpful for me. The first link you can order a free vegetarian starter kit. The next one has easy veg recipes, the third link is a vegetarian restaurant guide. You can have pretty much anything but animal flesh. I eat things like pasta dishes, rice dishes, veggies, legumes, foods made of grains, veggie dogs, homemade pizza. There are thousands of combinations. Google "vegetarian recipes" or get a few cookbooks. I buy the Boca or morningstar recipe crumbles and make tacos, lasagna, faux meat sauce for pasta etc etc.
