Answers: The fruit itself does not loose any nutrients ( neither do caned vegetables) but they do loose flavor and consistency. But usually they need to be preserved in a syrup or with some other preservatives like sulfur or sugar. Yes your eating fruit but in turn your eating a lot of sugar. no jams and jellies are healthy i think so.. somehow will lost the flavour and nurition. So.. better to eat with whole fresh fruits =) JUST READ AN ARTICLE IN READERS DIGEST...CANNED,JARRED,JUICES, ARE GOOD FOR U BUT WATCH OUT FOR THE SUGAR no.
like canned peaches and such?
no, nothing, unless they have some wierd oter thing like filled in them..
fruits and vegetables usually only loose nutrients and such from being steamed or boiled By canning fruits& veggies you retain the nutritional value, just not the taste and color, Of course will you lose some nutritional content through the cooking process, this is how it is preseverved. not all of the nutrients. some, definitely. if you can, try to eat fresh fruit because it is much better for you.

however, it's better to eat canned fruit than no fruit at all.
