If The Skipper On Gilligan's Island Could Make A Radio Out Of A Coconut...?
Then why the hell didn't he fix the hole in the boat??
Answers: Because the show was called "Gilligan's Island" and not "Skipper fixes the boat and they go home and end the show". The skipper didn't make the radio. The professor made the coconut radio. If he fixed the boat the show would be over. There's a lot of things like that. IT was the PROFESSOR who could make a radio out of a coconut. THey would have died so many times if it weren't for his intelligence.
All the Skipper could do was yell and bop gilligan on the head with his (skipper's) hat.
THe show didn't try to be realistic, just entertaining. And that's okay with me. I love all those old cute goofy shows.
The Monkees was also a great show that didn't try to be realistic... Just look at all the spontaneous costume changes or people supposedly not recognizing these four goofballs just because they dressed themselves up a bit. Tv shows never make sense we should know that by now. It was the proffessor not the skipper.
I'd like to know when the reality of the show stopped for you? was it when the astronauts landed?? Or when the whitest natives I ever seen invaded the island?? Because of the curse of GILLIGAN. It was supposed to be a 3 hour tour they meant 3 eon tour. the skipper couldn't make a radio in an electronics store with all the parts and instructions in front of him, the professor is the one who made all the stuff, but the radio was one they brought with them, had really good batteries in it though
