TO ANY VEGETARIANS OR WHO JUST FEEL LIKE ANSWERING THIS: What do you eat? It seems like I always have the?
same damn thing all the time..Im not vegan, but Idk what to eat....well, im 16 and my parents barely ever make me meals, even when I was younger, so its like
Fake meat, fake meat, fake meat, pizza, pizza, pizza, frozen I mean, ramen, ramen, ramen, ramen, fake meat, fake meat, cereal occasionally, instant rice, pizza, pizza
Its kind of distressing... so yeah Ive been a vegetarian since I was 3 I think.. I am annoyed that my kitchen is always ******* dirty with muddy paw prints and my mom is a slob that never cleans up after she makes something, which is mostly just for herself anyways,
Theres always stuff that we dont have, and I dont want to have to learn to be a ******* chef to work with the odds and ends in the kitchen..
Sorry about the rant.....

I'm seventeen and have been cooking for myself since I was fourteen, but just this year I decided to become a vegetarian. I guess I'm lucky that I like to cook, because otherwise I could see the whole 'parents not cooking for you' being a problem. I actually eat mostly raw fruits and veggies, because I am constantly snacking and they are easy to grab. I eat dairy products so I make things such as:
- omelettes filled to the brim with veggies and some cheese
- brown rice (very easy to make, SO much better for you than instant rice) with a stir fry on top
- mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy and corn
- vegetarian pizza
- I eat lots and lots of wraps.. they are easy and you can put anything your heart desires in them, along with either salad dressing or mustard or something of the sort.
- sandwiches (peanut butter and banana mmm)
- pita dipped in hummus
- I make grilled cheese but add in some sauteed green and red peppers, and mushrooms.
- salad with boiled egg inside
- fruit smoothies
- I eat ALOT of soups, either homemade or canned
- Vegetarian tacos (with beans, corn, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese)
- AND I also eat a lot of whole wheat pasta.. The possibilities with pasta are ENDLESS! mmm one of my favourites is actually very simple, you just sautee some veggies (anyhting you like) and boil noodles. When your veggies are the texture you like (soft or still a bit crunchy) add in a can of cream of mushroom soup. Add spices like garlic powder, pepper, basil.. Then when your noodles are done mix it all together and VOILA.. yummy yummy.
- or you could always resort to the comfort of kraft dinner.
Well I have listed a lot of things I think.. If you are interested in more recipes go to www.vegweb.com. You should be able to find some recipes that do not require too much experience in the kitchen.
