Iced tea on a raw diet?!

Question:

Iced tea on a raw diet?

I was thinking suntea would be a good way to keep it all raw, since the sun can only heat to a certain degree, the i was thinking no tea bags, so fresh herbs. does anyone have any idea's how to accomplish this task of being an iced tea attic and wanting to go raw?

does boiling the tea in the water kill the herb no longer making it a raw food?

Answers:

If you are new to the raw diet, you might just be trying too hard to keep it 100 percent raw. I found that I missed certain condiments, such as horseradish, mustard, vinegar, etc., so I lightened up on it a bit. Now, I do about 80 percent raw, and dont worry about the rest. As for the suntea, you could easily do one by just placing your herbs in the water, and placing the jar in the sun for a few hours. Unless you live in one of the areas that are smoldering right now, the temp wouldnt get over 110 anyway, so it would still be totally raw. Hope this helps
