I work as a chef, why do vegans come into my restaurant and almost demand I feed them something that is not?

even on our menu? I mean if you want to be a vegan fine, but it's not my job to make sure you stay on your diet

I never said I would not slightly alter a menu item such as leave off a chicken breast, we also have a vegetarian option on our menu but it is a 7 item menu so how many vegetarian choices should we have, all I'm asking is be realistic and dont get pissed at me if our menu doesn't fit your life style

ok obviously I need to add some more details so maybe you will quit hating on me so much, we are a dinner theater we have a seven item menu, we have one hour to feed 100 people before the show starts and we have a very tight budget, so if any of you know anything at all about the restaurant business and I already told you one of the 7 items on our menu is vegetarian you would know I dont have time or resources to individulize anyones diet I do tell people the ingredients weather they want to know for allergies or diets or what ever. But the people with allergies are not the ones who leave nasty notes saying we need more options for them it's the vegans that do that.

I "Totally" feel you, Brother..... go through this myself every Day ! And then those Individuals try to make up there own Menu ......some are really Cocky too.
