I'd like to make a good vegetarian pizza! What ingredients do you recommend on it?!

Question:

I'd like to make a good vegetarian pizza! What ingredients do you recommend on it?

What kind of sauce, seasonings or vegetables would you suggest I'm tired of meat on it and wanted to do something different!

By the way, I'm an American who lives in Europe and this country makes lousy pizza, (Norway) so that's why I was asking for great suggestions. Otherwise, I would just order one if I still lived over there! American pizza is the best.

Answers:

When I make vegetarian pizza, I use alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce. I put fresh baby spinach, red and yellow bell peppers, roma tomatoes, garlic, artichoke hearts and green onions or scallions. Sometimes I even put thin sliced zucchini. And LOTS of mozzarella!! These ingredients work well with grilled chicken on the pizza as well.
