How to feed a vegan who doesn't eat glucose?!

Question:

How to feed a vegan who doesn't eat glucose?

Any food ideas?

I think she said glucose; something starting with a 'g' anyway. She doesn't eat white bread.

or just an easy vegan dish would be good, she's not actually allergic to anything, so i guess she might just have to deal.

Yeah, i thinks its gluten.

And shes definately not allergic, coz she keeps changing her mind about eating it or not. Its kind of a week on week off thing

Answers:

Gluten, not glucose. All starches and sugars are converted to glucose in the body (including a diabetic's body, the only difference being that a diabetic has to restrict the amounts).

She can eat breads made from other grains (rye, corn). She can eat quinoa, rice, barley and other grains. And lots of legumes.

How about a vegan Italian minestrone with barley instead of pasta? Complete protein if you don't make it too watery.
