Would any 1 here eat meat if it was raised the way we thought it was when we were kids?!

Question:

Would any 1 here eat meat if it was raised the way we thought it was when we were kids?

I mean when i was a kid i thought that my McNuggets were raised with their moms in a chicken coop on a farm with a barn, hay stacks, cornfeilds, and trees with tweeting birds in the background. And finally when they could no longer lay eggs they were killed and turned in to my McNuggets.

and as 4 my buger i thought they were raised as cows on big green feilds until they got old and then where killed.

if u dont already know how they are killed go to www.goveg.com

Answers:

I never made the connection between a cow and a steak, not truly. I really believed that farms were pretty, happy places with Farmer Joe in over-alls, black and white cows named Daisy and lots of rolling green hills. Steak was just a food I grew to like very much, found in a neatly packaged container at the supermarket. And it's no wonder I grew to like it, since my parents made it seem so normal and essential.

Now I know the truth, and it only took a few months of being veg*an before I lost the taste for meats. I am so glad I did (never thought I could). I would not be able to enjoy it, ever again. :) I'm very happy, too.

I'm an abolitionist yet I respect that you believe if people want meat they should hunt it for themselves. If this were the case, the world would be a different and better place.

... Still think you should go veg! *nudge* :)
