Do vegetarians eat cows milk?!

Question:

Do vegetarians eat cows milk?

because i ate a yogurt with cows milk...and i feel bad for the little cow :/ are they cruel to cows while getting milk ? also, are they cruel to chickens while laying eggs (even cage free/ free range ones) ? this is like one of the few things i havent looked up...because i thought that cows dont die while giving milk, so it didnt hurt them. now im thnking differently...

Answers:

milk is what makes bones strong, you are not eating a cow.think of it like this,I am not eating this cow therefor I am not hurting this cow but in return these cows are helping me by makeing my bones strong and giving me the calcium I need in order to have healthy bones. So you are doing the cow a favor by not eating it and it's doing you a favor by giving you healthy bones.A machine is used to milk the cow and it does not hurt them. and no one is cruel to the chickens either.some people give chickens a steroid like substance in order to make the chickens eggs bigger but it does not hurt the chicken.as far as cows dieing when they give milk that is not true.
