Does anyone know if AlsoSalt works?
hi, i was lately diagnosed with high blood preassure. i have been searching for seasonings that has a minimum amount of salt. i find AlsoSalt online.....do you know someone who has used it and if so....does it work. also any sugestions on reducing ammount of salt in my cooking?

I've known some who have used it or similar. Some think it tastes somewhat metallic, and all agree that it is not as tasteful as salt. I don't have blood pressure issues, but I rarely use salt. I use seasonings that don't include salt, and fresh herbs finely cut. Also, when I do use salt, I use a little at a time to see if I like the taste before adding more. Also, use as much fresh vegetables and fruits as you can. Lots of can goods and frozen meals have tons of salt (sodium) in them. Check the labels.
