What are some vegetarian foods that provide strength?!

Question:

What are some vegetarian foods that provide strength?

Answers:

Soy, tofu, carrots, mushrooms, potatos, squash, tomatos, apples, walnuts, grapes, rasins, peanut butter, whole grain, bananas, oatmeal, lima beans, and black beans. Actually men's health magazine listed banana's, walnuts, oatmeal, and lima beans as some of the best muscle building foods out there. Just remember that if you are working on building strength don't forget flexibility. It helps stretch the muscles allowing them to increase the density and add more strength. I know guys have a ego thing about lifting weights and neglect their flexibility but if you really want to build strength and not just muscle mass I would suggest yoga about twice a week and some pilates for about 8 minutes a day to work your smaller supporting muscles.
