If so, what was your favorite? Any suggestions?

Herbivore rocks! This place on Haight Ashbury wasn't bad either...it was in a B&B. Shangrila Chinese and Maggie Mudd (you haven't lived until you've tried a vegan ice cream cake) get my vote too.
