Any good snacks for children that doesnt have a ton of sugar and red dye 40 in it?
I try to really watch what goes in my lil angels. I dont buy alot junk food, maybe every once in awhile for a treat. I dont buy juice unless it says it is made of 100% juice. I switched from white bread to whole wheat for health benifits. If I buy sodas they are caffenne free and thats every once in awhile because soda depletes calcum. I am concerned with red dye 40. I have read how it effects children. I am a concern parent. any helpful advice would help.

popcorn
apples sliced with peanut butter
yogurt smoothies
pears sliced with white cheese
grapes frozen if it's hot
star fruit mixed with strawberries
whole wheat wraps with turkey
make muffins together...let them pick out ingredients
homemade popsicles
cheese sandwhichs
fresh fruit in season with a yogurt dip...yummy
