What is the difference between a cage egg a farm egg and a free range egg?!

Question:

What is the difference between a cage egg a farm egg and a free range egg?

I have been buying farm eggs and am wondering if this is kinder than cage egg?

Answers:

I think it is that caged eggs come from chickens on a battery farm, farm eggs come from chickens free to roam inside a barn and free range eggs come from chickens that are free to roam outside.

You can also get organic eggs which come from chickens fed exclusively on organic chicken feed, however they are not always free range too unless they say they are.
