When people think of really healthy plant foods, why do they think of?!

When people think of really healthy plant foods, why do they think of?

asian cuisines (ex. brown rice, shoyu, nori, bok choy, etc.)? why not american? our native plants are just as good, don't you think?

oh, no... I wasn't talking about how americans eat today, I was just talking about the types of plant foods, and by the way, white rice is not native to america, that was popular in asian countries. I didn't realize that not to many leafy greens are native here! huh...

I think it is because we are generaly healthier than americans... but, did you kno that the wild rice that is native to north america is healthier than the asian rices. americans also have the rosaceae fruits native their like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, plums, cranberries, etc... and theres also blue-green algae, that stuff is super healthy! and it comes from oregan I hear. there is also a variety of healthy nuts native to america, and stuff like quinoa, aramath, maca, and many fruits native to south america. then there are green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, peppers (chilis are good for digestion), okra, tomatos, avacados, pumpkin, sweet potatos, and of cource corn, native to the north and central parts.
