I know I should blanch then freeze, but I thought they were all going to be eaten.....hmmmmm dh lied, lol. But I have heard that freezing fully cooked beans will make them mushy. Should I put water in with them or just be dry?

Answers:

They will be softer when defrosted no matter what you do<sigh>. If you're going to use them within a week or so there's no need to wet pack them. The only reason to wet pack cooked beans would be to prevent freezer burn during long term storage. Plan on using them in something like a soup or casserole where the 'damaged' texture won't matter<g>.
