What vitamin deficiencies should I look out for being vegan?!

Question:

What vitamin deficiencies should I look out for being vegan?

I have only been vegan a little over 48 hours now, and I feel great. I am just wondering, besided B12, what are some other things that I should make sure I get enough of that are particularly found in meat? Thank you all for participating!

Answers:

Duh, protein is not a vitamin deficiency. Some people, sheesh.
The most common deficiencies are B12, iron, calcium, zinc, vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids.
Just eat fortified soy milk, eat lots of dark leafy greens and orange fruits and vegetables, nutritional yeast, walnuts or flax, and get lots of sunlight.
Good luck on going vegan. <3
