How do I cook non-meat meat substitute?!

Question:

How do I cook non-meat meat substitute?

I'm trying meat substiutes for the first time. The no-meat meatballs were easy, I baked them in sauce like I would regular ones. But I also bought some no-meat "chicken" pieces and was going to stir-fry them. They come frozen in a bag; do I toss them in the wok still frozen, or do I thaw them first?

Answers:

Just toss them in frozen, they will thaw as you cook them.

I do the same thing with the "ground beef" crumbles for tacos, and it just thaws in the pan while I cook it- even frozen it cooks faster than real ground beef.
