What are some high protein, low carb meals for a vegan?!

What are some high protein, low carb meals for a vegan?

I'm a vegetarian, but would prefer to eat vegan when possible. I have not had meat or seafood in over 15 years but do eat dairy and egg whites when necessary. My diet consists of mostly carbs which we all know isn't exactly healthy. I'm starting to like tofu, but only the really firm kind. I'm looking for food and/or meals that are high in protein and low in carbs. I've been trying protein powder but I really don't like the taste. I've tried 4 different brands now, but still don't enjoy it. Is there any way you can mask the taste of it? Anyway, back to my original question - what are some high protein, low carb vegan meals and or food. Vegetarian ideas are welcome also as I'm not full vegan yet.

Black soy beans are very low carb. I'm a meateater, but will occasionally enjoy a meat free meal. I make a black bean chili type concoction that can be cold as a dip served alongside homemade hummus and pita chips, or hot and wrapped in a sprouted seed tortilla (Ezekiel brand) with tomatoes and baby greens. I do make my own yogurt so that always goes on top. My kids do love it too! They (the beans not the kids) come canned so are very easy to use and are usually organic.
