Do believe that someone is vegan if they...?!
Do believe that someone is vegan if they...?
...criticize other vegan people for eating honey or using other bee products?
...criticize other veg people for having an old leather belt in their closet or wearing shoes that they bought before transition?
...always interrupt people's meals because they are eating
meat or other animal products to remind them of their feelings towards it whether it is confrontational or "politely"?
...don't stop to think about how their poor/unbalanced diet, negative attitude or neglect of their physical condition makes the future of the animals even more hopeless than if they just consumed the flesh of the innocent like the rest of the horde?

*Do you... =P

MikeL- I'm sorry, that isn't an answer. I'm afraid that I'm not trying to change anything or anyone's mind. Thank you for your "opinion".

Liz D - your answer actually has some sense to it. =) So why are they "vegan" if they choose to be rude and feed stereotypes? It seems like the opposite of what their goal should be.

KitKat - I haven't noticed it in you before, but your answer concerns me. It's giving me the feeling that you take offense to the various points in the question. Why is that? Do you need to take a look at how you've been "advocating" your cause. Hopefully you will learn something today.

Jenasaurus - I respect your answer, but why go through all of the trouble of altering the way someone lives if the way that they are "living by example" creates a backward force that is undeniably more powerful than any progress that one has made.

Heidi - Sorry if I offended you. It was just a dickish response to a dickish answer.

Why would I call it "consuming the flesh of the innocent" if I thought it was OK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!...

Unfortunately, many of these answers sound very confused. Some imply that I gave a general figure or said that MOST or MANY vegans are like this. Other answerers seem to think that I am an anti-veg troll making an argument against veg*ism. I am vegan myself, so I don't find any logic in that.
This question was prompted by someone displaying some of these varios examples on this forum. To deny that these things rear their ugly heads in actual persons is quite foolish. They are not only present in hollywood or sitcom stereotypes.

Um, yeah, I don't remember making a single generalization in regards to any group, especially one that I belong to. These were all examples of things that SOME people do..... because they are retards. A few people seemed to be offended by my "question". I am almost reluctant to believe that those people were reminded of themselves and took offense by my critique of their style of "advocacy". If true, I do hope that they learn something from this (fat chance).=)

Thank you all for the answers. No one really got it !00% right though. The correct answer is NO, the appropriate term for these people is "NEEDS A BAT TO THE F*CKIN HEAD"
=)
Answers:
Yes. They just aren't very nice vegans.
:)
Vegans believe in not harming animals; being a nice person doesn't have a lot to do with it. There are jerks in all belief systems and lifestyles.
As far as the poor diet part, most vegans' diets are just fine. Just as with the rudeness factor, there will be unhealthy people of all walks of life as well. With as many people who fall ill and/or die due to clogged arteries, most people still eat red meat.
EDIT- Your examples sound familiar and I think you are talking about Ashley? Anyway, I am quite certain that she is a meat eater who is trolling pretending to be vegetarian. Some such questions that made me realize this was:
Her stance on how dogs are naturally vegetarians.

I just ignore her.
