Recipe for egg-less mayo that tastes close to Hellmans?!

Question:

Recipe for egg-less mayo that tastes close to Hellmans?

Being a lacto-vegetarian I am finding sandwich eating a challenge. I don't like mustard at all, and was brought up on mayonaise. I tried 'Nay-onaise' which is (I guess) a popular egg-less brand of mayo, but I just didn't care for it. So, I thought maybe I could try to whip up a substitute in my kitchen. What would I use? Silk tofu? Vegan egg-substitute? I'm not looking for something funky and fancy, just a close approximation to real mayonaise that I can use to moisten my veggie patty sandwiches. Thanks...and any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Answers:

If you do yogurt, you can make a decent sub with FAGE brand (pronounced FAYAH) TOTAL yogurt, a little olive oil, and sea salt and pepper. I love the flavor, texture and creaminess of it. It is available at most health/whole food stores.
