Can anyone tell me the diff beween cold pressed org coconut oil and cold pressed org centrifuged coconut oil?!

Question:

Can anyone tell me the diff beween cold pressed org coconut oil and cold pressed org centrifuged coconut oil?

I know that the process of obtaining the raw coconut oil is what this is all about. I'm just wondering if anyone has tasted the difference between the traditional raw unheated organic phillipine coconut oil, and the unheated raw organic coconut oil, that is processed by a centrifuge process.

Answers:

There is NO difference between the two! That's *assuming* both processors use FRESHLY harvested coconuts.

You will notice a difference if the processor allows the coconuts to 'age' for a few weeks before processing. In that case the oil that isn't centrifuged will taste stale and may even form a layer of sour smelling liquid at the bottom of the container.
