How does a vegetarian keep or gain muscle mass?
I tried vegetarianism for 2 months and lost a lot of muscle. I lifted weights but never got bigger or stronger, I actually shrank. I was not a vegan so I was still drinking milk and eating other dairy products. I lost 40 lbs during that 2 months but a bunch of it was muscle. I have since gone back to meat and my muscles began growing immediately. Is it even possible to maintain the body, 230 lbs low body fat without meat?

I've gained muscle mass since becoming veggie... and leaned down but added strength... not sure what you did wrong but you did something wrong.
