I'm tired of this 'because men need meat' bull sh**. Men don't need the protein in meat anymore than women do, which is not at all.

And vegetarianism is not, I repeat, NOT a diet choice. The 'because more women are worried about their waist line' bit is also BS.

I think it's a society thing. Eating meat is seen as masculine, a vegetarian woman is more accepted than a male vegetarian.

Read the 'Sexual Politics of Meat' and you will see what I'm getting at.
